Role Overview
Inventory Control Specialist Tech – Santa Clara, CA. Regular Day Shift (Mon–Fri)
Staff responsible for managing inventory of computer hardware, test equipment and related lab materials. Maintain accurate records, perform receiving, inspection, shipping, and inventory control. Ensure compliance with ESD packaging, safety, and documentation for domestic/international shipments.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accuracy, safety, and compliance across diverse environments.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
- Communicate effectively with management, team members, and customers.
- Manage check‑in and check‑out of inventory items, ensuring accurate tracking.
- Receive, inspect, verify items, perform operational equipment checks.
- Compare shipments against purchase orders, resolve discrepancies and track delays.
- Document all goods and services using appropriate tracking systems.
- Prepare items for shipment with safe packaging and cost‑effective shipping methods.
- Record shipment details (item , transportation info).
- Identify and resolve discrepancies such as damaged goods or shortages.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify excess idle or obsolete stock, assist with disposition.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe inventory room.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Knowledge of computer hardware (motherboards, CPUs, memory DIMMs, add‑on cards, hard disks, HDDs, KVMs, etc.).
- Knowledge of test and measurement equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, associated probecables).
- Experience with inventory management tools.
- Experience preparing documents for domestic and international shipments.
- Knowledge of ESD packaging for shipping.
- Ability to organize and maintain inventory rooms and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and source lab materials.
- Familiarity with electronics part procurement processes, both internal and external.
- Understanding of fundamental inventory control procedures and systems.
- Familiarity with office and administrative practices.
- Strong record‑keeping skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computers and standard software, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Actual compensation within the stated range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity. The range reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by work location, job level and additional factors, and may include annual performance‑based bonuses, sales incentives or other variable compensation.
