Senior Cost AccountantValencia, CA – Hybrid Role
Advanced Bionics is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to support cost of operations analysis, accounting, and reporting. This role will be responsible for analyzing manufacturing variances, supporting forecasting and budgeting activities, preparing inventory and reserve analysis, coordinating standard cost development, and supporting month-end close and audit activities.
A minimum of 200
Mb/sec download and 10
Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
- Report and analyze manufacturing variances, including labor, overhead, absorption, material usage, scrap, and purchase price variance
- Support forecasting and budgeting for volume, earned hours, PPV, production variances, value of production, and overhead cost centers
- Prepare and analyze monthly inventory, inventory reserve, and warranty reserve activity
- Lead and coordinate the annual development of standard costs in the ERP system in partnership with Supply Chain and Manufacturing Engineering
- Prepare and coordinate transfer pricing for all legal entities
- Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account analysis
- Support internal and external operations audits, IFRS compliance, and physical inventory cycle count activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related academic discipline required
- 2+ years of experience in cost accounting
- MBA, CMA, or CFA preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review data, identify variances, and support business decisions
- Self-directed and able to manage responsibilities independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with stakeholders at varying levels of the organization

This role's pay range is between: $ – 125,400. This role is also commission eligible/bonus eligible.
