About the RoleThe Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, cost accounting, inventory, and financial reporting
. This position will work closely with Accounting, Operations, and other cross-functional teams in a high-growth manufacturing environment.
- Support the monthly and periodic financial close
, including journal entries and account reconciliations. - Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP
. - Assist with manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, and job costing across production runs.
- Support inventory accounting, inventory reconciliations, and cycle count activities
. - Assist with AR/revenue accounting and related financial reporting.
- Prepare accounting schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation for management reporting.
- Support annual audits, internal controls, and requests for financial documentation.
- Document and improve accounting processes, procedures, and controls.
- Partner with Operations, Finance, and other departments to research and resolve accounting issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and increased efficiency

- 2-4 years of accounting experience
. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
. - Experience with month-end close, GL accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
. - Exposure to manufacturing, CPG, or consumer products strongly preferred.
- Experience with cost accounting, standard costing, job costing, inventory, or cycle counts
. - Experience with AR/revenue accounting.
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and manipulate financial data.
- Experience working with a cloud-based ERP system
. - SAP experience preferred
. - CPA coursework or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
