A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This role will support general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, accounts receivable, and other core accounting functions.

• Perform day-to-day general ledger accounting, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, prepaids, accruals, and other balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Oversee accounts receivable activities, including customer follow-up, encouraging ACH payments, and preparing weekly AR aging reports.
• Process and support payroll, 401(k) reporting, banking transactions, and accounts payable.
• Assist with use tax and other federal, state, and local tax reporting and compliance.
• Support annual financial audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
• Assist with cost accounting and financial analysis.
• Review and import expense reports into the accounting system.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support GAAP compliance.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc accounting initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience, including journal entries, reconciliations, prepaids, and related accounting functions.
• OR public accounting/audit experience.
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs

• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Payroll experience is a plus and would be helpful as a backup function.
