Overview

As a Junior Customer Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our valued clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with industry leaders, assist in managing client accounts, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Support senior account managers in the development and execution of strategic account plans.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions in the ERP system.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports for customer meetings.
  • Monitor customer accounts to identify trends and opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person communication.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Track and manage order status, including processing orders and coordinating with logistics and supply chain teams.
  • Support the resolution of billing and payment issues in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to recommend improvements in products and services.
  • Participate in regular training and development sessions to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Assist in the preparation and participation in customer meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all customer interactions.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Familiarity with aerospace products and services
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Educational Qualification and Experience
  • Degree in Business, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service or account management, preferably in the aerospace industry
