Construction Supervisor
The Construction Supervisor is responsible for managing and executing construction projects from start to finish and ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. As a front-line representative of the SERVPRO® brand, this role is the customer's on-site point of contact for each construction project. This role leads by example in managing scopes, executing project details, and maintaining a safe and professional jobsite.
The Construction Supervisor oversees and completes quality projects while upholding the customer service standards that make our brand so reliable. This position plays a critical role in upholding SERVPRO's Here to Help® commitment.
Customer Relations & Quality Assurance
- Be the Point-of-Contact for every construction project
- Ensure a positive customer experience and promote overall satisfaction.
Project Management & Job Execution
- Coordinate and perform construction processes per work orders and schedules created by Construction Manager.
- Perform job site activities, including staging, installing drywall and trim, applying texture, painting, and cabinet installation.
- Use equipment efficiently and ensure proper handling and protection of jobsite materials.
Asset & Resource Management
- Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.
- Perform assigned vehicle and equipment maintenance on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
- Oversee facility and grounds maintenance tasks as assigned.
Other Duties
- Continue developing expertise in construction procedures, tools, products, and standards.
- Communicate effectively with managers and office staff regarding project status and concerns.
- Perform other related tasks or duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in construction (drywall, paint, trim, cabinetry preferred).
- Jobsite and Personnel Leadership Skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Regularly lift 50 pounds independently; occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Stand, walk, climb ladders, and work overhead for extended periods.
- Work in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
- Perform repetitive motions such as pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying.
- Tolerate exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, fumes, and varying environmental conditions.
- Wear a respirator when required.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with occasional overtime, nights, and weekends.
- Local travel required; occasional out-of-town travel may be necessary.
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
