$38 – $55/hour DOE
About the RoleJoin a premier high-performance motor sport engineering company as an FEA Simulation Engineer. You ll be a key member of our Simulation Group, using finite element analysis to drive critical engineering decisions and accelerate product development. This position offers hands-on technical work, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines in the fast-paced world of motor sport.
What You ll Do- Run FEA Simulations – Set up, execute, and manage finite element analyses using our in-house tools and established workflows
- Analyze & Communicate Results – Interpret simulation data, identify key insights, and present findings to engineering teams in clear, actionable formats
- Automate & Optimize – Develop scripts, macros, and tools (using MATLAB, Python, Java) to improve simulation efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with design, validation, and development engineers to support projects from concept through production
- Bridge Simulation & Testing – Apply your understanding of testing methods and instrumentation to validate and correlate simulation results
- Present Technical Work – Prepare and deliver detailed presentations for engineering reviews and project milestones
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 2–4 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of Dassault Abaqus (CATIA experience is a plus)
- Programming proficiency in MATLAB, Java, and Python
- Understanding of internal combustion, hybrid, and electric powertrain architectures
- Coursework in Statics, Dynamics, and Materials Engineering
- Experience with Design of Experiments (DoE) for simulation and optimization
- Knowledge of control systems as applied to powertrains
- Familiarity with testing instrumentation and validation methods
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work and thorough documentation
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative, team-based environments
- Passionate about automotive engineering and motor sport technology
