Senior Chassis Designer – Motorsport Vehicle Design
Location: Santa Clarita, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (High Potential for Extension)
Weekly Pay: $1,923 – $2,500 DOE

A premier U.S. motorsports engineering organization is seeking a Senior Chassis Designer to lead race car chassis and suspension development at the highest levels of competition. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role where your designs move quickly from CAD to track, directly influencing vehicle performance, safety, and reliability.

What You’ll Own- Lead race car chassis and suspension design from concept through release
- Develop and analyze 3D CAD models, drawings, and detailed design documentation
- Interpret track and test data to refine structural and mechanical systems
- Evaluate and implement design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
- Coordinate engineering activities tied to project development, schedules, and issue resolution
- Conduct product design reviews ensuring compliance with engineering standards and performance objectives
- Mentor junior engineers and support cross‑functional collaboration
- 5–7 years of direct motor sport vehicle design experience
- Deep expertise in race car chassis, suspension, and structural systems
- Advanced CAD modeling skills (parametric modeling strongly preferred)
- Strong analytical capability across structural and mechanical systems
- Experience with prototype machining, castings, and treatment processes
- Knowledge of raw material specifications, drawing control procedures, and cost calculations
- Proven ability to manage engineering projects in high‑performance environments
- Strong communication skills in team‑oriented engineering settings
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs of vehicle components
- Work at the forefront of elite motorsports engineering
