Test Engineer

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, with concentration in internal combustion engines, hybrid/electrified powertrains, or closely related systems; coursework in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and energy systems required.
• 5+ years of hands-on powertrain development and test engineering experience, including test planning, procedure development, execution, and reporting, along with data acquisition, reduction, and engineering analysis to support validation and performance improvements.
• Demonstrated experience supporting powertrain and/or chassis dynamometer testing, including setup, calibration, instrumentation integration, and troubleshooting of test systems.
• Working knowledge of data logging hardware/software, sensors, measurement systems, and test instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow, torque, emissions, vibration, etc.).
• Strong understanding of automotive systems, powertrain performance characteristics, and validation methodologies, with the ability to interpret results and recommend engineering actions.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical information clearly through test reports, procedures, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and program stakeholders.
