Planner, Engineering, Estimator

Planner

Responsibilities:

• Develop cost estimates on individual parts and update the MRP system accordingly.
• Perform job planning, routing, and steps based on estimates.
• Review customer drawings and understand scope of work to budget.
• Utilize knowledge of machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to estimate costs.
• Review existing cost components and plan for improvement.
• Obtain pricing for materials.
• Obtain bids from subcontractors and manage overhead costs incurred in the manufacture of items.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance.
• Must work well with others.
• Must be able to work the scheduled shift and meet company attendance requirements; flexible enough to work overtime or modify work hours on short notice if production deadlines require it.
