R&D Technician (Electrical Focus)

Location: Valencia, CA

Pay: $35-$41/hour

We are seeking an experienced R&D Technician for a temporary, onsite opportunity supporting product development and prototyping. This role is ideal for candidates with strong electrical testing, PCB design, and hands-on prototyping experience who thrive in a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and test prototypes, cables, and fixtures to support product development
• Assist engineers with design, analysis, and validation of electrical systems and components
• Create and document designs using Solid Works and CAD tools
• Develop PCB layouts using Altium or similar software
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics and engineering drawings
• Support prototype assembly, troubleshooting, and testing activities
• Coordinate materials, vendors, and internal resources for project needs
• Communicate progress and contribute to quality standards and specifications

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years in R&D or engineering support
• Strong electrical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience
• Experience with schematic reading, PCB design, and CAD software (Solid Works)
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
