Our client, a high‑performance automotive and motorsports engineering organization
, is seeking a Performance Applications / Calibration Intern to join their team. As a Performance Applications / Calibration Intern, you will be part of the Powertrain Controls & Calibration Engineering group
, supporting embedded control strategy development and validation for internal combustion and hybrid powertrain systems

Performance Applications / Calibration Intern

Pay Range

25$ per hour

What’s the Job?
  • Support development and validation of embedded powertrain control strategies for internal combustion and hybrid systems
  • Assist with model‑based development and physics‑based system modeling using MATLAB®/Simulink®
  • Develop calibration, analysis, and data‑processing tools using MATLAB® and Python
  • Work closely with controls and calibration engineers on engine and hybrid control applications
  • Support testing activities through data analysis, model correlation, and documentation
What’s Needed?
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, Controls Engineering
    , or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of MATLAB® and Simulink®
  • Experience using Python or MATLAB for data analysis, scripting, or tool development
  • Solid understanding of internal combustion engine fundamentals
    , including thermodynamics and air‑path/combustion physics
  • Ability to apply first‑principles engineering reasoning to modeling and analysis tasks
