Project Engineer

The Project Engineer leads cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to customer specifications. This role manages all phases of the project lifecycle, from design and testing to production and delivery, ensuring quality, technical accuracy, and smooth coordination between engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with exceptional project management skills to drive innovation, resolve challenges, and achieve results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Essential responsibilities include developing and maintaining detailed project plans, assigning duties to project personnel, coordinating with vendors, managing technical data packages, ensuring customer requirements are met, creating project status presentations, implementing project schedules, monitoring team performance, preparing project communications, providing technical support, planning engineering projects, assigning project personnel, reviewing product design, coordinating technical developments, directing technical activities, evaluating design changes, managing technical scope, and controlling budget and expenditures.

Position requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent education and experience, 3+ years' experience in an aerospace engineering and manufacturing environment, working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, outstanding organizational and time-management abilities, proven track record of successful project delivery, working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, strong communication and presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, leadership talent, foundational understanding of finance/project finance, and skilled customer relations.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. Specific benefits are dependent upon whether or not the position is part of a collective-bargaining agreement. The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Equal Pay Act Range:
Annual salary from $83,100 to $123,900 plus benefits and incentives
