Senior Civil Engineer
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer who wants a larger seat at the table, greater influence on project outcomes, and the chance to work alongside respected professionals tackling some of the region's most challenging development initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading land development projects from planning and entitlement through design and construction.
- Directing multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Overseeing grading, drainage, utility, stormwater, and roadway design efforts.
- Reviewing engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, and specifications.
- Managing schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Serving as a key point of contact for clients, agencies, and project partners.
- Guiding projects through permitting and regulatory review processes.
- Mentoring engineers and designers while fostering technical excellence.
- Participating in business development, client relationship management, and project pursuits.
- Supporting quality assurance and quality control initiatives across project teams.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree or greater in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
- 7+ years in civil engineering design, land development, and utility systems.
- Advanced proficiency with Civil 3D and strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with drainage design, H&H modeling, and stormwater management practices.
- Familiarity with construction management and construction administration practices.
- Experience performing plan reviews and navigating permitting processes with municipal agencies.
- Strong communication, project management, and client-facing skills; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor staff.
