We have an opportunity for a Test Engineer, Lead to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA.
As our Test Engineer, Lead you will design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. You will prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test equipment, and complete specifications and procedures for new products. Also provide assistance with planning of labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating manufactured products. Performs product testing or formal qualification activities and generates related documentation.

Salary Range: $ - $ per year plus bonus. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in California. Your Challenge:
- Perform moderately complex tasks related to testing manufactured products.
- Develop test plans and conduct testing activities, including formal qualification, on complex systems and subsystems to meet program requirements.
- Use test procedures, investigate and analyze test failures, recommending corrective action as appropriate.
- Assist systems engineers with development of test specifications, methods and procedures.
- Prepare product verification documentation and technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to a wide variety of technical problems.
- Develops proposal inputs related to product testing or test equipment and present them to department and program personnel.
- Assist with required maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading, or new development of automated test equipment in support of manufacturing operations.
- Create test equipment technical data package, including design documentation, drawings, and technical manuals
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering field with minimum 7 years of related experience
- Ability to deliver urgent attention and responsive problem solving
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry requirements and demands
- Ability to work effectively under pressure of schedule and technical constraints
- Expertise with electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to determine problems
- Experience testing complex systems and writing test reports
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral skills
