TROLL SYSTEMS CORPORATION DOES NOT PROVIDE RELOCATION SERVICES
Participate in developing detailed specifications, work with an understanding of the integration of third-party devices, and partner with RF and electrical designers to meet customers' requirements.

- Design and release new parts
- Reduce backlog by better estimates and less rework
- Creation of System-level block diagrams
- Development of new electro-mechanical parts and assemblies including wiring harnesses
- Design and release new Top Assemblies combining both current and new parts designs
- Work with project management to ensure accurate schedules
- Support first article builds and testing
- This candidate will communicate and provide information to several departments regarding ongoing efforts in the engineering department, which will require organizational savvy and composure
- In addition, the ability to communicate effectively and act professionally is important as this role will interact with executive management
Required
Education and Experience:
- B.S. from a four-year college in the field of Mechanical Engineering or related field;
Or two to four years work-related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience - Experienced 3D CAD designer
Skills and Abilities
- Journeyman-level understanding and application of 3D CAD (Inventory and/or Solid Works)
- Mechanical design, materials, electronic wiring, power systems, and thermal management
- Basic understanding of electronic signal flow
- Basic understanding of RF systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to quickly resolve open issues and deal with change
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder for authorized access to controlled technology/data as subject to ITAR
- Proficient user of MS Office Suite, Teams, Asana
- Proficient user of uni Point, ERP, MRP, Adobe
- Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter
- Able to work in a team environment and possess excellent organizational skills.
- Approachability
- Prior experience working within an engineering/aerospace organization
- Understanding and experience in electronic test
- A desire to learn new skills
- Experience with technical writing
