Development Engineer – Powertrain

A leading motorsports and high-performance engineering organization is seeking a Development Engineer to help develop, test, and validate advanced powertrain technologies.

This is a hands‑on opportunity for an engineer who enjoys turning concepts into real‑world performance, from development and testing through validation and production.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and execute powertrain development and test plans.
• Design and coordinate component and system testing.
• Analyze test data and translate results into engineering recommendations.
• Create test procedures, validation plans, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to solve technical issues and optimize performance.
• Support continuous improvement of testing and development processes.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of powertrain development and testing experience.
• Background in internal combustion engines, electrified powertrains, or related technologies.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with data acquisition, instrumentation, test execution, and data analysis.

Preferred:

• Powertrain or chassis dynamometer testing.
• Data logging hardware/software.
• Automotive, motorsports, or high-performance engineering experience.
