Essential ResponsibilitiesThis position will involve research, design, analysis, testing, and documentation for products such as composites, metals, elastomerics, electric heaters, acoustics, and aerodynamics.
Position Requirements- Must be currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field and in good standing
- Junior and Senior students are preferred
- Knowledge/experience in CAD design, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident due to export regulations
- 40 hours per week (12 week internship)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Solid Works and/or Catia v5/v6
- Experience with FEA software, such as ANSYS or NASTRAN
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
- Design experience
- Testing experience
- Specific experience in the aerospace industry and knowledge of the processes employed is a plus
