Operations Manager

Overview

Empower Solar is a full service, residential solar installer looking experienced and driven individuals to join our ever-growing team! The Operations Manager plays an integral role, overseeing all field and operations staff in assigned territory and is responsible for the overall success of their location. With lots of moving parts, it takes a special person to keep the entire office moving in the right direction.

• Understanding of NEC codes with emphasis on residential PV installations.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Solar or Electrical field.
• Previous leadership experience.
• OSHA 10/30 Certification is a plus.

• Oversee Installation Crew (hire, fire, support, train).
• Oversee supporting office staff and teams (Permitting, Inspection, Warehouse).
• Management of employee time clocking.
• Update CRM daily with completed jobs.
• Assist with managing local vehicle fleet.
• Hold weekly Safety Meetings with field staff.
• Attend scheduled meetings with Management.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Management on job materials.
• Performance reviews of employees.
• Managing P&L of branch.
• Attend applicable trainings.
