Position SummaryWe are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Assembly Operators. Must be able to interpret assembly blueprints, drawings, schematics and engineering specifications to build, calibrate and test electromechanical switches.
Essential Responsibilities- Adjust disc springs to required settings.
- Functionally cycle switches to stabilize components making necessary set ups with a minimum of technical assistance.
- Check, synchronize, and test products using a variety of hand tools (i.e. screwdrivers and pliers) and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gages and dial indicators to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- May be required to safety wire parts as necessary according to instructions.
- Troubleshoot and repair units needing rework.
- May be required to drill and install pins per assembly routers.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Exercise ordinary care and attention to prevent damage of components, tools and equipment.
- Exercise ordinary care and attention to prevent injury to others due to operation of high-pressure vessels.
- High School Diploma.
- Able to read pressure gauge.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Ability to read, speak and write in English, follow verbal and written instructions.
- A moderate amount of concentration required involving coordination of mental processes and physical responses.
