NICU Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically, and efficiently care for a group of patients based on HMNH’s policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements. Creates a practice environment that maximizes individual performance and serves as a resource and mentor to staff.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Problem solving skills
• Basic computer skills

• Current CA RN license
• Current BLS provider card
• Current NRP provider card

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
• 16 units of Baby Friendly education

• 2 years recent NICU experience
• Recent experience in Level II or Level III
• National neonatal certification preferred
