Laboratory Technician

📍 We are seeking a Radioassay Technician to support routine radioactivity measurements, laboratory instrumentation, and quality control activities within a regulated environment.

• 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory, production, or operations environment
• Experience with gamma spectroscopy, atomic absorption,
  mass measurements, preparing or making solutions, pH testing, or chemical purity.
• Experience using radiation detection equipment and/ or hazardous materials (e.g., NaI detectors, GM counters, ion chambers
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation software (preferred)
• Lab instrumental experience—chemistry stockroom experience (preferred)
• Experience supporting final quality control processes (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
• Willingness to work overtime and travel between local facilities as needed
• Perform routine radioactivity and source measurements
• Conduct daily equipment checks, calibrations, and instrument maintenance
• Support radio assay processes under the Quality Management System
• Provide backup assistance for final quality control activities
• Assist with customer source complaints and calibration returns
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, records, and filing
• Travel locally as needed to support additional facilities
• Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned
