This position is a great opportunity to work with a small team of like-minded application developers to create powerful, modern, high quality all-in-one solutions that will be used in a wide range of manufacturing industries. The app development team will be designing, building, and launching new apps to serve employees working in enterprise businesses. The apps we build are flexible to translate across industries such as manufacturing and engineering, inventory and supply-chain management, employee management to assets and maintenance operations and much more.

This role will require critical thinking skills as well as excellent communication as you partner with and support customers in collaboration with the rest of the app development team.

The Appward™ platform,patent pending, is a relatively new ecosystem and our company has strong startup roots. We are thrilled to be on this journey, to be developing the next generation low-code, cloud based, novel PaaS platform that will empower and enrich many end-users to easily build on-the-fly applications with a refreshing experience. And then release and share such powerful custom business applications with the people they work with on day-to-day basis.

The platform simplifies and speeds up the creation of sophisticated apps, ANY App, in an easy and intuitive process. These apps will be tremendously useful for advanced manufacturing businesses to run their operations and systems.

This is an hourly full-time, in-office, position located in Santa Clarita, CA.

Duties unique to this role:

• Design, build, test, and maintain applications within Appward™ in an effective manner. Take ownership of your apps and absorb feedback on how they are utilized in the market by our customers.
• You’ll be building solutions, using Appward™, with user interfaces for almost every app built and deployed. So, an eye for detail and intuition for simplicity is key. We expect great UX, nothing less. Make Appward your new IDE, and your new favorite dev language!
• Must be customer centric. Always starting with the customer and working backwards. This is critical for success in this position.
• You will be fully responsible for your projects, deadlines, and quality of the deliverables.
• Use critical and analytical thinking skills to solve problems in creative ways. Develop efficient methods for accomplishing tasks independently and also within a team setting.
• Use industry knowledge and research to improve and build your apps that will be useful for Appward customers.
• Use and integrate 3 rd party APIs into your business applications that have been brought into Appward platform.
• Be able to understand and follow expectations and specifications on product and delivery from management. Escalate concerns promptly and be ready with proposals to dismantle any roadblocks.
• Manage workload effectively as multiple app development projects are assigned at a time and navigate through different development stages.
• Be a self-starter and resourceful to lead and make progress in assigned projects independently.
