Overview
Operates company van or truck. Loads and unloads materials, goods, and equipment between various destinations as assigned. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely and accurate transportation.
Job Duties And Responsibilities- Package and consolidate orders in preparation for shipment
- Validate information is correct such as part number, purchase order, workorder number, number of parcels and units, etc.
- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws and regulations
- Transport products and materials to assigned destinations
- Load and unload cargo as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and route information
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure proper functioning
- Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
- Follow assigned routes or use navigation tools to determine the most efficient path
- Provide courteous and professional customer service
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures
- Education/Experience
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1-3 years of related experience or training.
- Language Skills
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Math Skills
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
- Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Reasoning Skills
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Computer/Office Skills
- Must hold a valid Class C driver's license
- Must hold a clean driving record

Actual base salary offered to the selected applicant will be based on their work location, qualifications, job related skills, relevant education, and training experience.
Base hourly rate range Minimum $18.00 - Maximum $23.00 Depending on experience
