The Maintenance Mechanic III ensures manufacturing equipment is operating efficiently for maximum production capability. This is
a senior level technician role responsible for ensuring prompt, consistent maintenance support to the production department and
performing scheduled preventative maintenance, work orders, rebuilds and related repairs on manufacturing equipment and other
equipment in the facility. The Maintenance Mechanic III maintains daily records of time and parts involved with assignments and
assists, trains and advises other maintenance personnel with repairs, projects and work orders in coordination with management.
The Maintenance Mechanic III ensures manufacturing equipment is operating efficiently for maximum production capability. This is

performing scheduled preventative maintenance, work orders, rebuilds and related repairs on manufacturing equipment and other
equipment in the facility. The Maintenance Mechanic III maintains daily records of time and parts involved with assignments and
assists, trains and advises other maintenance personnel with repairs, projects and work orders in coordination with management.
Estimated starting annual base salary is $46.35/ hour less applicable with holdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances.
In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary, variable annual incentive, paid based on Company performance factors. Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance support to Production department along with other departments, as needed.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and other equipment in the facility.
- Troubleshoot all manufacturing equipment and related issues and follow up as needed.
- Support the installation and startup of new machinery and equipment.
- Maintain a daily record of time and parts involved with assignments.
- Collaborate with other mechanics, electricians, production workers and other staff to promptly resolve maintenance issues.
- Advise and train junior level Maintenance Mechanics in coordination with management.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.
- Utilize the CMMS, and Microsoft Applications for documentation of work.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in the food processing industry.
- 5 years of mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
- 3 years of plumbing experience.
- Proficiency in mechanics, fabrication, welding techniques and standard shop equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook.
- Ability to read and understand manuals, blueprints, engineer designs and complex schematics.
- Strong time management, communication, teamwork, organization and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires
standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or
move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
