A well-established manufacturing organization in Santa Fe Springs supporting high-spec industrial and defense programs is expanding its team and seeking a Senior Cost Accounting Analyst due to continued growth and increased operational demand.

This is a hands‑on, plant‑facing role reporting directly to the Controller, with strong visibility to operations and leadership.

If you enjoy digging into cost drivers, partnering with production, and truly understanding how inventory and job costing impact the business — this is not just a desk‑close role.

What You’ll Own:
  • Lead and support month‑end close within a manufacturing environment
  • Inventory analysis including WIP, cycle counts, and physical inventory validation
  • Job costing, margin analysis, and variance investigation
  • Fixed assets and capital expenditure tracking
  • SOX compliance and internal controls
  • Operational and financial reporting to plant leadership
What They’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing required)
  • Strong cost accounting and inventory background
  • Experience with job costing and variance analysis
  • ERP system experience
  • Advanced Excel
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field

This is an onsite role in Santa Fe Springs with strong exposure to plant operations and the opportunity to influence financial performance at the facility level.
