Controller, Accounting, Financial Reporting

Description

Robert Half is actively recruiting for a knowledgeable Net Suite SME/ Accounting consultant to support our privately held equipment rental client.

The consultant will assist with financial data cleansing from the legacy ERP system to be transferred to the Net Suite financial reporting templates including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow reporting. The consultant will have hands-on experience with Net Suite accounting and reporting and collaborate with the Net Suite implementer to ensure the chart of accounts and general ledger are standardized.

This role will be 20hrs / week part time PST time and remote.

Skills:

-Strong knowledge of Net Suite Financials and Reporting.

-Understanding of ERP systems, accounting principles, and business processes.

-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

-Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

-Background in process improvement or business analysis.

-Finalize review & recommendations of COA & Segments (Standard & Custom)

-Data aggregation and compilation into Net Suite templates

-Import data templates into Net Suite

-Attend meetings where appropriate

Requirements - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including work in a Controller or senior-level accounting capacity.

- Hands-on expertise with Net Suite Financials, with a strong understanding of reporting capabilities and accounting data structures.

- Solid knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger management, and core accounting principles.

- Experience working with accounting systems and reviewing financial data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate confidently across teams and with external partners.

- Background in process improvement, business analysis, or accounting operations optimization.
