Health Writer (remote)

JM Services and Consulting, LLC is a leading provider of healthcare consulting services in Santa Fe Springs, CA. We work with a variety of healthcare organizations to improve their operations and provide quality care to their patients. We are currently seeking a talented Health Writer to join our team on a part-time, remote basis.

• Conduct research on various health-related topics and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
• Write high-quality, engaging content for our clients  websites, blogs, and social media platforms
• Collaborate with our team to develop content strategies and ensure consistency in messaging and branding
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and adherence to style guidelines
• Use SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines
• Stay informed on best practices for online content creation and adapt strategies as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand their needs and preferences for content

• Bachelor s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in health writing or a similar role
• Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
• Knowledge of SEO and content optimization strategies
• Familiarity with AP Style and other writing guidelines
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for healthcare and a desire to educate and inform others about health-related topics
