Overview

Executive Engineer of Advanced Technologies (Ellison Technologies, Inc.; Santa Fe Springs, CA):
Serve as strategic leader that develops and executes the engineering strategy in alignment with the company’s vision and goals. Provide leadership and direction to shape engineering practices within the organization. Innovate and develop new technologies, products, and solutions. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the team to explore and implement cutting-edge technologies. Oversee project management ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Lead, build, and mentor a high-performing team. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment and support professional development and career growth for team members. Implement best practices and standards to enhance engineering processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the effective use of resources. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive improvements. Collaborate with executives and departments to align engineering initiatives with overall business objectives.

Identify potential risks related to engineering and automation and develop strategies to mitigate risk. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols. Manage budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources and financial stewardship. Drive improvements in quality and innovation with CNC machine tool manufacturer through relationships with manufacturer upper management and quarterly visits to foreign CNC manufacturing factory.

Position requires 20% domestic travel and 5% international travel.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered, as an Electrical Engineer, or related position.

Must have experience with the following:

• CNC machine tool engineering (including troubleshooting)
• CAD/CAM systems (including Auto Cad, Power shape, Delcam, and Powermill)
• Technical and engineering leadership in a CNC Service environment
• Electro-mechanical design and implementation
• Quality management systems
• CNC controls (including Heidenhain, Siemens and Fanuc)
• Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Profiling processes (including EDM wiring, laser and machining)
• Leading teams in service, engineering, and sales
• Tracking and identifying new technologies to solve complex business issues

In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $225,000 - $250,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
