Field Technician/Administrator I
The Field Technician/Administrator I is a field-based support role responsible for assisting Engineering and Testing teams on an active job site of varying size by supporting multiple project disciplines at a time. This position maintains project documentation, reviews field reports for completeness, tracks schedules and project deliverables, prepares testing forms, and provides routine status updates. The role serves as a key liaison between Field Supervision and office-based management, ensuring accurate reporting, organized records, and efficient project coordination for the testing and commissioning team.

- Support the coordination of an active project with multiple disciplines for the testing and commissioning team.
- File, organize, and maintain project paperwork and testing documentation for Testing Manager review.
- Review and verify field reports for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate and assist the Testing Field Supervisor/Superintendent with preparation for weekly project meetings.
- Monitor project schedules and communicate potential delays or documentation gaps.
- Maintain and update project trackers to ensure accurate status reporting.
- Prepare and distribute testing forms and related documentation as required.
- Provide routine project status updates to management and project stakeholders.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records from field submittals.

Qualifications:
- BS degree in business administration or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in Solar and Renewable Energy.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Proficiency with Bluebeam.
- Excellent negotiation and team-building skills.

Physical Demands:
- Frequently works outdoors on uneven surfaces.
- May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- May be required to stoop, bend, and crouch and navigate construction environments.
- Ability to travel 100% of the time to project, vendor, or client sites.
Work Environment:
- This position is field-based with minimal office-based time as needed and will require field assignments and travel to project sites.
- May work in varying weather conditions: hot, cold, and wet conditions.
