CSI Electrical Contractors is seeking a Civil/Structural Design Engineer I to support electrical construction and renewable energy projects across California. In this entry-level role, you'll assist with structural design and analysis for equipment foundations, supports, and cable tray systems, preparing drawings, calculations, and specifications under senior engineer guidance. You'll coordinate with electrical designers, construction teams, and vendors, help review submittals, and support field issue resolution.

Responsibilities
- Assist in civil/structural design and analysis for electrical and renewable projects
- Prepare drawings, models, calculations, and construction details under supervision
- Support design documentation including specifications and reports
- Coordinate with electrical designers, project managers, and field teams
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals with senior engineers
- Help ensure designs meet codes, standards, and client requirements
- Support field issue resolution and occasional site visits
- Contribute to safety-focused and quality-driven project delivery
Required Skills
- Civil engineering fundamentals
