Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including budgeting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and maintain strong internal controls.
- Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning and financial decision-making.
- Lead initiatives to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff to maintain high performance and accuracy.
- Minimum of 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, internal controls, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial data analysis tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is a strong advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Capable of working collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership.
