Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to assist with processing ACH payments on our Online Payment system, along with performing other clerical tasks as needed. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

+ Process accounts ACH payments efficiently and accurately.

+ Answer phone calls and provide excellent customer service.

+ Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as required.

+ Process credit card transactions, ensuring all information is accurately entered into the system.

+ Multitask effectively by working with multiple programs simultaneously.

+ Retrieve and enter information from checks and emails into the system.

Essential Skills

+ High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Experience in accounts receivable and processing credit card transactions.

+ Proficiency in processing ACH transactions.

+ Strong skills in Excel, particularly with pivots and lookups.

+ Ability to process 50-60 credit card/ACH transactions daily on busy days and 30-40 on slower days.

Skills & Qualifications

+

Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle, is preferred but not required.

+ Open to candidates with experience over formal education.

+ At least 1 year of experience in processing credit card and ACH transactions.

Work Environment

The position is with a Japanese-based company, offering the opportunity to work with international colleagues. The role involves interaction with sales teams and requires multitasking across various programs. Performance is measured by the ability to efficiently process a high volume of transactions daily. While the industry is open, familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle is beneficial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
