Set up and operate band saws to cut metal materials including steel, aluminum, and other alloys;
Read and interpret job travelers, blueprints, cut lists, and mechanical drawings to determine cutting requirements;
Measure and mark materials using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, or other precision tools;
Select proper blades based on material type and thickness;
Monitor saw performance and adjust feed rates, blade tension, and cutting angles as needed
