The CNA Clinical Instructor supervises and evaluates CNA students during their on‑site clinical training at approved facilities. The role focuses on skills demonstration, coaching, safety oversight, and competency evaluation to ensure students meet all CDPH requirements and are prepared for the California CNA State Exam.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise CNA students during clinical rotations in skilled nursing or healthcare facilities
- Demonstrate CNA skills, infection control, and safe patient care practices
- Coach and support students in real‑time clinical situations
- Evaluate clinical competencies and document student progress
- Ensure patient safety, professionalism, and compliance with CDPH standards
- Communicate student progress or concerns with program leadership
- Current LVN or RN license (California)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- At least 1 year working with elderly or chronically ill patients
- Skilled nursing, long‑term care, hospital, hospice, or assisted living experience accepted
- DSD Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Meets California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements for CNA clinical instructors
- Nurses seeking a part‑time / per diem job. 7 am‑3:30 pm or 4 pm‑8 pm weekdays (Monday‑Friday)

Schedule & LocationPart‑time / Per diem job. 7:00 am‑3:30 pm or 4:00 pm‑8:00 pm weekdays (Monday‑Friday). Many schedules available. Locations include Long Beach, Santa Fe Springs, Los Angeles, CA, Orange County and surrounding cities.
