SchedulePart‑time / per diem. 7:00‑3:30 pm or 4:00‑8:00 pm weekdays (Monday‑Friday). Many schedules available, including weekends.

Los Angeles Skills Academy (LASA) is seeking a Part‑time LVN or RN to join our Los Angeles clinical team as a CNA Clinical Instructor. This hands‑on clinical role is ideal for nurses who prefer bedside teaching and mentorship. The instructor works directly with students in approved clinical settings, helping prepare them to become confident, job‑ready Certified Nursing Assistants. LASA is an official provider of the American Red Cross Nurse Assistant Training Program and is approved by the California Department of Public Health.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise CNA students during clinical rotations in skilled nursing or healthcare facilities.
- Demonstrate CNA skills, infection control, and safe patient care practices.
- Coach and support students in real‑time clinical situations.
- Evaluate clinical competencies and document student progress.
- Ensure patient safety, professionalism, and compliance with CDPH standards.
- Communicate student progress or concerns with program leadership.
- Current LVN or RN license (California).
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 year working with elderly or chronically ill patients (skilled nursing, long‑term care, hospital, hospice, or assisted living experience accepted).
- DSD Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Meets California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements for CNA clinical instructors.
- Nurses seeking a part‑time / per diem job (7:00‑3:30 pm or 4:00‑8:00 pm weekdays).
