Quality Control Inspector

1st Shift M-F 6am to 2:30pm & 2nd Shift Tues-Fri 2:30pm to 9pm & Saturday 12:30-9:00pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience using precision measuring equipment, interpreting blueprints, and working within a manufacturing quality environment.

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured products and materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and inspection reports as required.
• Verify product documentation, certifications, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Document inspection results, nonconformances, and quality findings.
• Support calibration activities, quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to maintain product quality standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) preferred.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and optical inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain accurate inspection records.

• AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) experience.
• Aerospace, medical device, rubber manufacturing, or precision manufacturing experience.
• Experience with quality systems, calibration programs, and nonconformance reporting.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequently use hands and fingers to handle small parts, measuring instruments, and inspection equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Required to perform close visual inspections, including reading blueprints, specifications, and inspection reports.
• May be required to bend, stoop, reach, and work around manufacturing equipment.
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and production activities.
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and other equipment as needed.
