Responsibilities
- Perform advanced instrumental analysis and scientific investigations to support precious metals refining, production operations, quality assurance, material valuation, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a technical resource within the laboratory, applying specialized expertise in Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) spectroscopy and related analytical technologies.
- Generate accurate analytical data, troubleshoot complex issues, optimize laboratory methods, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate sample integrity, preparation methods, analytical conditions, instrument performance, and analytical results to ensure data reliability.
- Graduate Chemist
- Experience in advanced quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses utilizing ICP-OES, ICP-MS, GD-OES, IC
- Technical problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of quality assurance and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and safety regulations
