Lyons Security Service, Inc., PPO 12687, is now accepting applications for the Professional Security Service for two shipping and receiving sites, Santa Fe Springs & Buena Park, CA.

What to expect:

Applicants should understand the Lyons Way: high level of professionalism & customer service, and responsive leadership. Applicants should be expected to meet the demands of the client and those visiting the client properties.

• Interacting in a professional manner with client employees and authorized guests.
• Assist the vendors with directions when needed.
• Understand Site Specific Strict Zero Electronics Policy (All personal phones and smart watches will be stored in a locker during shift hours).
• Meet company and contracted‑specific uniform and grooming standards (including but not limited to, no visible tattoos, facial hair policy, etc.).
• Be a visible presence in the entrance area and as assigned.
• Screen semi‑trucks and deliveries.
• Immediately report building alarms and equipment maintenance failures.
• Ensure gates and fences are locked when client facilities are closed.
• Promptly notify appropriate client personnel and local authorities when emergencies occur.
• Report any unsafe or dangerous conditions or circumstances to client representative.
• Make rounds of inspection to determine that fences, gates, doors and windows are properly secured.
• Investigate unusual or suspicious conditions or activities that are closed and/or locked or otherwise properly secured.
• Prevent trespassing, damage, or theft of client property.
• Patrol parking areas.
• Use post management system to check‑in at designated checkpoints.
• Provide scan patrols and complete a scan patrol with 100% score.

Compensation:
Based on the shifts.

• Day: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Swing: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Night: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

• Must be able to meet the job requirements noted above.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license and CA guard card with neither ever suspended.
• Must be able to actively patrol the client warehouse, screen patrons, and interact with the public for 6–8 hours.
