Armed Security Officer

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a leader in protective services, is seeking a dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team. Our mission is to provide security solutions that ensure the safety of homes, workplaces, and communities. As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our clients' premises and assets by maintaining a secure environment through vigilant monitoring, conflict resolution, and quick response to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of an emergency
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property
• Prepare reports on daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

Required Skills

• Proficiency in security operations and procedure
• Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures
• Skills in both interpersonal communication and emergency response
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
