, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access at entry points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicles, drivers, and deliveries according to site procedures; direct traffic to designated loading, unloading, and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
