Inventory Accounting Coordinator - HANA

Job Overview

Ensure transparency, provide accounting guidance and offer inventory control; serve as a quality gatekeeper to drive compliance with accounting and financial reporting standards.

• Financial reporting – review and ensure accuracy of financial information for Buses units and Spare Parts.
• General ledger accounting and financial analysis – monthly review of reconciliations, accounts maintenance, and trend reports.
• Inventory management – value inventory, analyze primary inventory, maintain inventory accounts, coordinate physical inventories, manage units outside yards, enable material destruction in production plants.
• Business partner support – investigate and resolve accounting and reporting issues, assist SAP/cbFC/IMACs interfaces, support external audit and accounting management.
• Process and systems improvement – document new or updated processes, identify system enhancements, support configuration of relevant systems.
• Reporting and communication – prepare communication of financial results and key performance metrics (KPIs) for financial direction, support internal and external stakeholder reporting.
• Internal control assessment – evaluate controls on inventory processes, ensure documentation and testing per internal requirements.
• Cross‑functional projects – collaborate with business units to implement new processes, monitor progress, support organizational and system changes for continuous improvement.
• Other duties – coordinate monthly/quarterly/annual physical inventories, organize material destructions, manage unit tracking, participate in meetings, and support budget activities.

• Accounting experience – IFRS, local regulations, cost accounting, financial statement analysis.
• Systems – SAP, cbFC System, Office, Advanced Excel, Power Pivot, PowerBI.
• Project management basics.
• Languages – English (B1), Spanish (C2).
• Soft skills – decision making, problem‑solving, planning and organization, effective communication, strategic financial vision.
• Academic background – Accounting, Administration, Finance or Engineering.
