Dual-Language Financial Specialist

A Recycling Company in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its team. This role involves managing day-to-day financial tasks including month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory control, fixed assets, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

• Process accounts payable and generate checks.
• Manage month-end close and reconcile bank accounts.
• Record and deposit payments, and document financial transactions.
• Monitor bank accounts, payables, and receivables.
• Prepare invoices, general ledger entries, and financial statements.
• Reconcile discrepancies and prepare trial balances.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Perform account analysis, prepare special financial reports, and cover Scale Clerk duties as needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with three years of experience.
• Proficient in reconciliations and accrual accounting principles.
• Strong problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
• Effective in building relationships and resolving disputes.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Must meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and have strong math skills.

• Successful completion of a post‑offer medical exam and background check.
• Compliance with safety guidelines and possession of a valid driver’s license.
