The Executive Assistant to the President manages calendars, correspondence, travel, board logistics, and foundation-wide events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, discreet, and proactive, thrives in a mission-driven environment, and takes pride in helping an executive lead effectively.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Manage the President's calendar, correspondence, and travel. Prepare briefing materials and track action items. Oversee board meeting logistics, materials, and communications. Plan and execute foundation events, including retreats and stakeholder convenings. Maintain digital filing systems and support staff onboarding and special projects.
Other Information/Requirements:
Required:
3–5+ years supporting a senior executive (nonprofit or public sector preferred); experience with board or governance logistics; exceptional organizational and written communication skills; discretion with confidential information; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and video conferencing.
Preferred:
Event planning experience; familiarity with New Mexico's civic or philanthropic community; comfort working on a small, fast-moving team; and experience using AI tools in daily work.
