We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to lead the parts department at our busy Volkswagen dealership. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and driven to maximize department profitability while delivering exceptional service to both retail and internal customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the parts department
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and controls
- Manage ordering, receiving, stocking, and returns
- Work closely with the service department to ensure timely parts availability
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers
- Monitor department performance, gross profit, and expenses
- Train, coach, and supervise parts department staff
- Ensure compliance with Volkswagen standards and dealership policies
- Handle warranty parts and core returns efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Previous automotive parts management experience required
- Volkswagen or European automotive experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and dealership software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
