Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Claims Reviewers in the Santa Fe, NM area to support disaster-related claim reviews, documentation, and customer support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with claims-related technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess disaster-related claims for accuracy, eligibility, and completeness.
• Evaluate losses, damages, repairs, and replacement costs using established guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with claimants, FEMA staff, and other stakeholders to gather information, explain policy, and provide status updates.
• Utilize claims management software, databases, and additional technology tools to process, document, and track claim information.
• Ensure compliance with federal policies, procedures, and disaster assistance regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Knowledge: Disaster-related knowledge and background to accurately assess losses, damages, repairs, and replacement costs.

Clear and Effective Communication: Customer service, excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge and ability to explain policy and regulations to claimants, FEMA staff, and other stakeholders.

Use of Technology: Proficiency in using claims management software, databases, and other technology tools that facilitate claim processing, documentation, and communication.

With Degree: 4+ years exp.
No Degree: 8+ years exp.
