Position Function Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Marketing and Development Officer, the Development Associate is integral to the Mktg and Development Team providing support with donor data and reporting, assisting with donor proposals and materials, coordinate and track donor stewardship program and support for marketing and development events .
Essential Responsibilities Donor & CRM Management- Maintains and updates database software with donor activities, runs reports
- Coordinates and tracks donor recognition and benefits program to ensure proper listing in communication materials
- Assists with donor cultivation efforts including phone calls, handwritten thank you cards and other initiatives
- Assists with donor communications including impact reports, newsletters, annual appeals and annual report
- Helps identify, grow and maintain community, corporate and individual relationships
- Implements Donor Solicitation calendar annual appeals, donor acquisition, direct mail program
- Assists with events and campaigns including event logistics, custom mailings, meeting preparation, and budget tracking
- Track sponsor ships and attendee engagement
- Supports the marketing/development team with general administrative tasks and special projects as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of nonprofit, administrative, or fundraising experience
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Familiarity with donor databases/CRM systems preferred
- Strong organizational and data management skills
- CPR/BLS Certification required
- LFMC required training Including, but not limited to basic Annual Safety, Anti-harassment, HIPAA Training;
- Basic Knowledge and ability of general office procedures including filing, copying, faxing, use of a computer, to multitask within established deadlines, work under the direction of a supervisor and follow instructions for work completion, and take initiative to resolve patient concerns and problems;
- Fluent in English and Spanish, preferred.
