Safety Coordinator HR

Shirley Parsons is partnered with an industry-leading client to identify a Safety Coordinator for a large-scale data center construction project in New Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile project team supporting critical infrastructure development in a fast-growing sector.

The Safety Coordinator will support the site safety team in implementing and maintaining health and safety programs throughout all phases of the data center construction project. This individual will play a key role in ensuring compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices while fostering a strong safety culture on site.

• Assist in implementing site-specific safety programs and procedures
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits
• Support toolbox talks, safety orientations, and ongoing safety training
• Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA and project safety standards
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting
• Collaborate with project management and subcontractors to proactively address hazards
• Promote a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement

• 2+ years of construction safety experience (data center or mission-critical project experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and regulatory requirements
• OSHA 30-hour Construction certification required
• OSHA 500 (Construction Trainer Course) required
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-contractor environment
