Salary Range: $63.00–$70.00 per hour (hourly incentives may apply).
Compensation and benefits for this role are governed by the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Additional hourly incentives may apply based on the project. Candidates who are not members of the union will be required to join the IBEW upon hire.
Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.

THE PRODUCTION TEAMThe Production Team oversees Cupertino Electric’s field workforce, ensuring that all projects are executed with high standards of safety, productivity, scheduling, quality and cost control. The team maintains tight control over project execution from start to finish and develops the best field managers in the industry.
ABOUTTHE ROLE
The Site Superintendent is the on-site field leader responsible for overseeing Cupertino Electric Inc.’s entire production scope of work on an assigned project. The role manages all IBEW personnel on site, ensures labor productivity, cost control, and the health and safety of all CEI employees. The Site Superintendent may also manage non-union personnel in matrix roles, such as onsite production support and administrative resources.
Leadershipand Management
Oversee and direct production personnel on site, ensuring efficient labor utilization and alignment with project schedules. Establish strong working relationships with the local union office to verify that all project scopes meet union agreement standards. Ensure compliance with hiring, termination, and compensation practices. Serve as the primary onsite CEI representative, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Productivity, Cost Control, and PlanningOversee project scheduling to align with budget and estimate. Monitor progress and adjust as necessary. Monitor and manage labor productivity, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. Implement cost control measures to keep work within project budgets. Navigate and resolve scope challenges with trade partners.
Health and SafetyEnforce CEI’s health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees. Oversee and enforce strict adherence to MOPs, conduct regular safety audits and inspections, and promote a safety culture.
Project CoordinationCollaborate effectively with other trades and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and minimal delays. Actively manage and communicate the project schedule to stakeholders and resolve on-site conflicts or issues that may impact production.
Quality and ComplianceEnsure all work follows CEI’s business processes and quality standards. Support compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements, working closely with the quality team to address deviations.
Stakeholder CommunicationServe as the primary point of contact for onsite project updates, providing regular progress updates, identifying risks, and suggesting solutions to maintain momentum.
ABOUT YOU- Knowledge of safety regulations and construction codes
