Summary
Sevan Multi-Site Solutions is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial retail construction projects across the United States. This role is responsible for jobsite safety, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and execution from groundbreaking through closeout.
TravelInitial projects are based in Las Cruces, NM; thereafter, 90-100% nationwide travel is required.
Licensing/Certification RequirementsCandidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold an active Qualifying Party Certificate issued by the New Mexico Construction Industries Division (CID) as a General Building Contractor; or
- Have successfully passed the NASCLA (National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies) examination.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience within the past ten (10) years at the foreman level or in a related trade, including at least two (2) years on commercial construction projects
Immediate projects will focus on retail construction in New Mexico. Additional project assignments may include retail, restaurant (QSR), grocery, fuel/convenience store, and federal construction, including ground-up builds, remodels, and structural concrete work.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Lead Field Operations- Oversee all onsite construction activities and field operations
- Direct subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to maintain productivity and progress
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet key milestones
- Develop and manage short-term look-ahead schedules aligned with the master project schedule
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and labor to maintain workflow
- Identify potential issues early and implement solutions to avoid delays
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily safety meetings, site inspections, and job hazard analysis
- Ensure proper PPE use and maintain a strong safety culture onsite
- Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Perform regular jobsite walkthroughs and inspections
- Coordinate required inspections, testing, and quality control procedures
